August Jiron

August is the co-editor and one of the founders of this site. A New York native, August followed up her MBA with fifteen years of experience at various regional and national newspapers and has worked as a financial advisor for businesses in her home city. She also runs a blog dispensing financial advice and discussing economic issues.

Becky McCormack

Becky came to the US from Scotland ten years ago having gained a PhD in Business Management. After five years as an advisor to the board of governors at a major retail firm, she got her break in journalism and has been editing the financial news sections of various magazines since then. She co-edits this site along with August Jiron, and is our main correspondent on financial services.

Elizabeth Flores

Elizabeth graduated with an honors degree in business law, and has spent the 12 years since working as a legal adviser to a range of energy firms. She is the chief contributor of energy and environmental stories on this site.

Gary Culbertson

Gary was the youngest student in the history of his school to win the school prize for Mathematics, and since then has never looked back. He graduated last year with a degree in accounting and since his freshman year has been a contributor to a number of top financial journals. He is also currently taking a Master of Finance degree.

Jennifer Haley

Jennifer Haley was fifteen when her report on the financial record of her city council appeared on regional television. Since then she has found time to take a degree in economics and found a series of websites dealing with economic issues; she is our main contributor on economic news.

Kimberley Brown

Kimberley is a retired financial advisor and remains a board member of an energy company in her home state of Texas. She worked in the financial sector for more than 35 years, and is a recurring contributor to her local newspaper on financial and energy matters, and is our Energy editor. She is also the proud holder of a PhD in Finance.

Shirley Town

Shirley founded her own website when she was 14 and the proceeds from it bought her her first car just two years later. Since that time she has pursued a career in journalism while maintaining a website on personal finance and home economics, and completed a degree in Information Technology and Finance. She is our technology editor and a recurring contributor on energy.
